HOUSTON, Tex. – The morning after the Utah Jazz beat the Houston Rockets with a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Bojan Bogdanovic, former Rockets guard Vernon Maxwell took to Twitter to troll Jazz fans once again.
On Monday morning after the Jazz win over the Rockets, Maxwell sent a tweet taking a jab at Jazz fans.
“Most NBA teams winning a title is the ultimate goal not the Jazz,” Maxwell wrote. “They are going ape s*** this morning because they won a meaningless regular season game where 2 of our best shooters took the night off. #saltlakes*****
Later on Monday, Maxwell quote tweeted a person who has their Twitter page protected.
“How many titles did the Jazz win those 2 years? How bout ever? Go to the library, get them to help you get on the internet and google this. I’ll wait for the reply,” Maxwell mentioned on Twitter.

This isn’t the only occasion that Maxwell has taken jabs to Salt Lake City on social media. Back on January 27, Maxwell tweeted out a video claiming he was doing a free basketball clinic in Salt Lake City. The video he attached to the tweet was a bunch of basketball players shoot air-balls.
So here is the reason I’m in Utah. I decided to offer a free clinic to the best young shooters in the state as a truce to try and mend my relationship with Utah fans. Here are the best shooters the state had to offer…. pic.twitter.com/ziJgaFP8En

Back in 2017, Maxwell sent out a tweet to Jazz fans that is pinned to his Twitter profile.
“I’d like to apologize Jazz fans that were offended by my tweets. If I knew u guys had internet in Utah I would’ve never made those tweets,” Maxwell tweeted.
