Jordan Clarkson Leads Jazz Third Quarter Rally Against Rockets

HOUSTON, Texas – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson helped Utah rally in the third quarter to cut the Houston Rockets’ lead to 83-81 as the two teams went to the fourth quarter.
The Jazz traveled to play the Rockets at the Toyota Center on Sunday, February 9.
Clarkson scored 9 points in the third quarter and helped Utah recover from a 73-66 deficit when he entered the game to Houston owning only a two-point advantage at the end of the third quarter.
As the two teams went to their benches in preparation for the final quarter of play, Clarkson had 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.

He shot 8-14 overall including 3-6 from three in 22 minutes on the court. Clarkson posted a +3 plus-minus rating.

Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley each added 14 points.
Utah shot 45.9 percent overall and 43.3 percent from distance in the first three quarters.

Houston went 48.6 percent from the field and 27.6 percent from three.
Rockets guard Russell Westbrook led Houston with 33 points on 16-27 shooting and 1-1 from beyond the arc.
James Harden added 22 points on 10-21 shooting including 1-11 from downtown.
At the end of the third quarter, Houston led Utah 83-81.
