Gobert, Mitchell Drafted To Team Giannis For NBA All-Star Game

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz all-stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell were drafted to Team Giannis for the upcoming NBA All-Star game.

Milwaukee Bucks all-star Giannis Antetokounmpo selected the two Jazzmen during the NBA All-Star game draft.

Team Giannis will face Team LeBron led by Los Angeles Lakers all-star LeBron James in the 69th NBA All-Star game on Sunday, February 16 at 6:20 p.m. (MDT).

Gobert and Mitchell were voted as first-time all-star when they were selected as reserves for the NBA All-Star Game by coaches from the Western Conference on January 30.

Rudy Gobert

This season, the seven-year big man from France is recording a career-high in rebounds per contest.

Through 48 games this season, Gobert is averaging 15.6 points, 14.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.0 blocks.

Donovan Mitchell

The third-year guard currently ranks No. 14 among NBA players in scoring.

Through 49 games this season, Mitchell is averaging 24.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.1 steals.
