Utah National Signing Day Commitments: Live Updates

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah announced their signing class on National Letter of Intent Day.
The Utes filled their needs at positions that were occupied by talented upperclassmen and players that made a difference for a football team that finished the 2019 season with an 11-3 record.
Utah signed most of their 2020 recruiting class during the early signing period in December.
Here is the list of recruits that have signed with the Utes on National Letter of Intent Day. (All ratings and stars are from 247 Sports)
Cooper Justice, QB, Lake Oswego, Oregon
Justice is a tall 6’6.5, 230-pound pro-style quarterback from Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He is a three-star recruit that is ranked No. 17 in the state of Oregon and the 88th ranked pro-style quarterback.
Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham visited Justice on January 29 where the young quarterback officially committed to the Utes.
He received offers from Georgetown, Colorado School of Mines, Morehead State and San Diego.

Jeremy Mercier, LB, Hohokam JUCO Transfer
Mercier is a 6’4, 215-pound linebacker from the Arizona junior college system. Coming out of junior college, Mercier received offers from Utah and Utah State. He committed to the Utes on his official visit on January 31.

Faybian Marks, CB, Richmond, Texas
Marks is a 6’0, 175-pound cornerback from George Ranch High School in Richmond, Texas. He is a three-star prospect that is ranked No. 270 in the state of Texas and No. 184 among cornerbacks.
His two brothers Torin (DB) and Xavian (WR) played for Alabama.
Marks received offers from Baylor, Hawaii, Houston Baptist, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisiana, Texas Southern, Texas State, UNLV, Utah, Washington State.
