Conley Returns To Jazz Starting Lineup, Makes First Four Shots Of Game

PORTLAND, Ore. – Utah guard Mike Conley returned to the Jazz starting lineup against the Portland Trailblazers and opened the game shooting 4-4 on field goals.
Conley and the Jazz played the Blazers at the Moda Center on Saturday, February 1.
The Jazz point guard opened the game making his first four shot attempts against Portland.
First, Conley made an 11-foot floater. His second basket came a minute and a half later on a two-foot layup. Conley’s third field goal came on a driving floating jump shot to give the Jazz a 15-10 lead with 8:01 left in the first quarter. The point guard connected on his fourth field goal a few minutes later on a 12-footer.

The Jazz guard missed his next two attempts before drilling a 25-foot triple to push Utah’s lead to 32-21 with 3:16 remaining in the opening quarter.

Conley finished the first 12 minutes of play leading all scorers with 11 points on 5-7 field goals including 1-1 from three-point range. He added 1 rebound and 2 assists in nine minutes on the court.

Conley has missed 19 of Utah’s 47 games this season due to injury.
The point guard has appeared in 28 games this season including 22 starts.
With Conley playing, the Jazz have a 17-11 record.
This season, Conley is averaging 12.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 27.3 minutes per contest. He has played 28 games this season.
