DENVER, Colo. – After the Utah Jazz lost to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night, forward Joe Ingles was walking off the floor towards the locker room when he and a Nuggets fan were exchanging words.
Ingles stopped walking towards the locker room and turned around and starting approaching the Nuggets fan before arena security separated the two.
Walking behind Ingles was Jazz forward Georges Niang who was jawing at the fan as well and was closer to the heckler.
Jazz reporters tried to ask the players after the game but they were advised to not discuss it by team personnel. The Jazz lost to the Nuggets 106-100 in their third straight defeat.

It is unknown what was said by the fan and whether it was a very offensive comment or that Ingles and Niang was upset about the loss. Normally, Ingles does not interact with the fans so this was an unusual to see him approach a fan in that type of way.
My understanding is the Nuggets fan called Joe Ingles the C word. https://t.co/0vjy6W2Caa
