Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Held Scoreless In First Half Against Nuggets

DENVER, Colo. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell was held scoreless in the first half against the Denver Nuggets.
The Jazz played the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center on Thursday, January 30.
The last time Mitchell was held scoreless in an entire half was in December 2018.
At the half, the @UtahJazz lead the Nuggets 48-43.
Clarkson (13), Bogdanovic (11) and Niang (10) in double digits for the Jazz.

Mitchell scored 0 points on 0-5 shooting including 0-3 from three. He committed two turnovers and posted an even plus-minus rating during the first half.
Despite not scoring, the Jazz guard was able to help his teammates with four assists.
The Jazz offense was able to produce a 48-43 lead at the break.
Utah shot 48.6 percent from the field and 47.4 percent from behind the arc.
Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson led all scorers with 13 points as the teams went to the locker room.
NBA All-Star Rudy Gobert scored 11 points on 4-4 field goals. Gobert added 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks during his 17 minutes on the court in the first half.

Denver was carried by Will Barton’s 11 points and Torrey Craig’s 10 points.
Nuggets all-star center Nikola Jokić was limited to 6 points during the first 24 minutes of game time.
