Former Weber State Guard Damian Lillard Named 2020 NBA All-Star

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The NBA announced that former Weber State and current Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard was selected as a 2020 NBA All-Star.

Lillard was voted as an NBA All-Star reserve by coaches from the Western Conference.

This is the fifth NBA All-Star selection for the former Weber State Wildcats guard.

The Blazers guard ranks fourth in the NBA in scoring this season.

Through 46 games this season, Lillard is averaging 29.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest.

Lillard played for the Weber State Wildcats from 2008-2012.

He was drafted by Portland with the 6th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

He scored 1,934 points during his time as a Wildcat. His jersey was retired by the university in 2017.
