Petition Launches To Make Kobe Bryant New NBA Logo
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A petition has been launched in hopes of persuading the NBA to change its iconic logo to feature Kobe Bryant.
Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, along with seven others, were killed in a helicopter crash Sunday morning.
The petition was started by Nick M. on change.org.

“With the untimely and unexpected passing of the great Kobe Bryant,” the petition reads, “please sign this petition in an attempt to immortalize him forever as the new NBA Logo.”
So far, the cause has garnered 2,090,912 signatures and is growing by the second.
My original goal was to merely get one hundred signatures I didn’t expect anything to come out of this. Less than a day later we now have over 250,000 signatures 💜💛 pic.twitter.com/VsWlRVNYGS

The current NBA logo features Lakers legend Jerry West, who is still alive and could, in theory, grant he NBA permission to change the logo.
