SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Utes true freshman guard Rylan Jones has been named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for his two performances last week against Washington and Washington State.
It’s the first time that Jones has won the weekly honor. It’s also the first time that any Utah player has won the award because it’s the first season that the Pac-12 is honoring freshman weekly.
Jones had two big performances last week and was a big reason that the Utes completed the sweep of the Washington schools.
