Clarkson Scores Creative Reverse Layup In Traffic Against Mavericks

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson helped continue a big run in the early portion of the game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Clarkson had the ball on the right angle and was driving to the basket past former Ute Delon Wright when he scored the layup with his right hand through two defenders.
The Jazz went on a 9-0 run to start the second quarter.
The layup put the Jazz within two points, 36-34 with 10 minutes left in the second quarter. Clarkson scored five points off the bench in 8 minutes on the floor. He nailed a three-pointer in the first quarter.

It was a slow start for the Jazz as Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic had 12 points in the opening quarter. Dallas had a double digit lead early. Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in 9 points early for the Jazz to keep them within striking distance.
Utah began a tough stretch, facing 10 teams currently in the playoffs in their next 12 games.
