SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former RSL winger Bofo Saucedo seems happy to be out of Utah, it seems. The RSL Academy product was seen on Twitter commenting on a tweet posted by former teammate, Brooks Lennon, who was retweeting a video by Atlanta United FC in which Lennon assisted Josef Martinez during practice in Atlanta.
“Good things happen when you play bro 😉😉” Bofo Saucedo tweeted in response to Lennon’s post.

The comment is seemingly a jab at his former club, Real Salt Lake, who only started Lennon on 16 occasions during the 2019 season. Saucedo, on the other hand, only started 13 games.
During an interview with the RSL Show in 2019, Saucedo expressed his frustrations with not getting enough minutes.
“The last few years for me have been so frustrating for me. I feel like I’d get that little candy, then they’d take that little candy away from me. I feel like I start at times and I do well and I score goals, and then I get benched all of a sudden. It’s been so frustrating because exactly what happened last year, happened this year,” Saucedo said.
Saucedo now resides in Mexico, playing for Pumas in Liga MX where he scored on debut earlier this year.
