Gobert Throws Down Alley-Oop Dunk From Mitchell Over Pacers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah center Rudy Gobert threw down a two-handed dunk on an alley-oop from Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell during Utah’s game against the Indiana Pacers.
Gobert, Mitchell, and the Jazz hosted the Pacers at Vivint Smart Home on Monday, January 20.
With 7:41 left in the third quarter, Mitchell tossed the ball high in the air where only Gobert could reach it. The Stifle Tower grabbed the ball and threw the ball through the hoop for two Utah points. Gobert’s dunk gave the Jazz a 67-48 advantage midway through the third quarter.

As the two teams went to the fourth quarter, the Jazz led the Pacers 81-63.
Gobert posted 14 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and a block. He recorded a team-high plus-minus rating of +21 in 27 minutes on the court.

Mitchell recorded 13 points on 6-11 shooting including 1-2 from behind the arc. He posted 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block. Mitchell had a +8 plus-minus rating in 24 minutes on the floor.
