Prior to his stint with the Bruins, Iloski netted 16 goals and 15 assists in 36 matches for the Real Salt Lake Academy during the 2016-17 season.
“Milan was one of the top goal-scorers in the country last year at UCLA and proved that he’s ready to make the jump to the professional level,” RSL General Manager Elliot Fall said. “He is another great example of our emphasis on developing young players through our Academy system and we are excited to add him to the mix and see his continued development.”
RSL currently has nine RSL Academy products on its 2020 roster. Iloski joins David Ochoa, Justen Glad, Aaron Herrera, Erik Holt, Luis Arriaga, Corey Baird, Tate Schmitt, and Julian Vasquez as Academy products.
The club has now filled 25 from a possible 28 roster spots heading into the 2020 season. There has been no news regarding longtime captain and club legend Kyle Beckerman.
Real Salt Lake open pre-season training this Saturday, January 18, at the Zions Bank Real Academy. The Claret and Cobalt will start preparing for their 2020 MLS Cup run with their first game scheduled for February 29 against Orlando City.
