Utah Gymnastics Lead Pac-12, Ranked Top 5 Nationally

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Women’s Gymnastics team is off to a hot start with a #4 national ranking after week two of competition.
Lovingly known by fans as Red Rocks, the team is ranked first in the Pac-12.
Nationally in the Road To Nationals rankings, the team is only behind Oklahoma, Florida and Denver. Following right behind Utah at #5 is Pac-12 foe – UCLA.

Utah and UCLA square off on February 23 in Southern California.
The Red Rocks opened the season with a win against #12 Kentucky, 196.425-195.350.

This past weekend the team participated in the first annual Best of Utah meet at the Maverick Center. The Best of Utah meet featured BYU, Utah, Utah State and Southern Utah.
The Red Rocks ran away with the win with a score 197.000.
