Timmy Allen Named To Lute Olson Award Mid-Season Watch List

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University of Utah men’s basketball sophomore forward Timmy Allen has been named to the Lute Olson Mid-Season Watch List.
The award is presented to the nation’s top Division I player.
Allen is one of eight players added to the watch list. He leads the Pac-12 in scoring with a 21.1 points per game average, along with 7.9 rebounds per game. The sophomore from Mesa, Arizona is shooting 50 percent from the field and 77 percent from the free throw line, which is second-best on the team.
He has made 88 free throws this season, which is eighth-most in college basketball.
