Rudy Gobert Makes Donovan Mitchell French In Latest Vivint Commerical

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – In the latest commercial released by Vivint Smart Home, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert makes Donovan Mitchell a Frenchman.
The commercial starts with Mitchell looking at the camera introducing himself as Donovan Mitchell in Gobert’s voice.
“Speaking of handsome,” Mitchell said after the introduction in Gobert’s voice. “You know who is handsome? That tall, beautiful Frenchman Rudy Gobert. I wish I had style like him.”
The commercial switches to Gobert sitting on an inflatable flamingo in his pool. He explains what the Vivint Smart Home security system features before it cuts back to Mitchell petting a cat saying “I like cats” in french.
The ending with the cat is a spin-off of one of the first commercials that Vivint released last season. It’s the commercial that had Mitchell watching his cat on his phone while on the bus. When Gobert calls him out for liking cats, Mitchell denies it. After a pause, former Jazzman Ricky Rubio said “meow.”
A couple of other commercials were released before the season that feature Gobert’s famous motion of slapping a bottle off of a table and also Bojan Bogdanovic and Mike Conley playing video games before Bogdanovic takes off his mask and is the television play-by-play broadcaster Craig Bolerjack.
