SALT LAKE CITY – The New Orleans Saints might have lost their Wild Card game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, but that didn’t take away from everyone loving Taysom Hill’s performance.
The former BYU quarterback set social media on fire with his do-it-all play. Hill led the Saints in rushing with 50 yards on the ground, had 50 passing yards, 25 yards receiving, and made a tackle on special teams.

Hill became the first player in NFL Playoffs history with that stat line. This is the 100th year of the NFL and the 54th year in the Super Bowl era. Historic production from a special player.
People all over the football world and even pop culture couldn’t get enough of what Taysom was doing, so they had to share their reactions.
Taysom Hill is faster then tebow, better passer then tebow, more christan then tebow, Better punt protector then tebow, only question is now can he hit better than .179 in double A

I envisioned Tim Tebow in a role similar to Taysom Hill once full time qbing wasn’t an option. I guess for Tim ,it was qb or nothing.

You knew there would be Tim Tebow comparisons when Taysom was doing his thing. Tebow might still be in the league if he was willing to embrace a “do-it-all” role like Hill has done in New Orleans.
Taysom is different ‼️

And then that happens. Drew Brees stinks. Taysom Hill would have won the Saints this game. Incredible

Taysom’s one throw in the Saints Playoff loss was a 50-yard deep ball to Deonte Harris and the advanced stats were blown away by the throw.
Taysom Hill's 50-yard completion to Deonte Harris traveled 54.7 yards in the air, longer than any Drew Brees completion (by air distance) over the last 3 seasons, including playoffs.

I don’t play favorites. But Taysom Hill is one of my favorite players ever.

I gave the Vikings no chance today. And in New Orleans, Cousins outplayed Brees, who also got outplayed by Taysom Hill.

You knew there would be some references to Taysom Hill’s performances against Texas while at BYU.
95 percent of us are kinda joking about Taysom Hill being a superhuman. the other 5 percent are Texas fans and they’re dead serious

It’s always a great day when Taysom Hill goes off for a big performance. Now we’ll have to wait till next year to see another superhuman Taysom performance. The question now, who will he be playing for next season?
