Jazz Guard Rayjon Tucker Named G-League Player Of Month For December

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Rayjon Tucker was honored as the G-League’s Player of the Month for December 2019.
Prior to signing with the Jazz, Tucker played for the Wisconsin Herd of the G-League.
During December 2019, Tucker recorded 28.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. The former Herd player shot 51.1 percent from the field in his last month with the Milwaukee Buck’s G-League squad.

Tucker signed with the Jazz on December 26, 2019, after Utah waived forward Jeff Green.
In the G-League, Tucker started 16 games, averaged 23.8 points on 49.4 percent shooting, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 33.8 minutes per contest.

Tucker played college basketball at Arkansas-Little Rock before joining the Herd.
The Jazzman played his first NBA minutes on December 30, 2019, in Utah’s 104-81 win over the Detroit Pistons.

Tucker played two minutes and went 1-2 on field goals for 2 points. He added a rebound and posted a +2 plus-minus rating while on the floor.
