Utes ‘Haven’t Seen A Guy Like’ Texas QB Sam Ehlinger
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah defensive lineman Bradlee Anae said that the Utes haven’t faced a quarterback this season like Texas Longhorns QB Sam Ehlinger.
Anae and the Utes will take on Ehlinger and the Longhorns in the Valero Alamo Bowl on Tuesday, December 31.
“He’s a great quarterback,” said Anae of Ehlinger. “He can run. He’s big and can put his head down and run over people. We haven’t seen a guy like this.”

The No. 11 Utes rank fifth in the nation in total defense with only 256.2 yards allowed per game. Utah has limited opponents to 4.4 yards per play this season.
“I’m just excited for the matchup,” said Anae.
