Utah Jazz Sign NBA G League Star Rayjon Tucker

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz have signed guard Rayjon Tucker after waiving veteran forward Jeff Green earlier in the week.
Tucker, 22, joins the Jazz after being acquired from the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G League where he started 16 games, averaged 23.8 points on 49.4 percent from the field, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 33.8 minutes per contest.

Prior to his professional career, Tucker played his college-ball at Arkansas-Little Rock, averaging 20.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 steals in 36.6 minutes per game during the 2019-19 season. He was rewarded for a terrific season by being named to the 2018-19 All-Sun Belt Second Team following his final college season.
Tucker will wear number six for the Jazz. Terms of the deal have not been released.
