MIAMI, Fla. – Jazz swingman Joe Ingles had a red-hot first half for Utah against the Miami Heat, in the final game of their three-game road trip.
Ingles scored 16 points on 5-7 shooting from the field and 4-5 from beyond the arc in 19 minutes on the floor. He started the game once again alongside Donovan Mitchell in the backcourt, while Mike Conley is out with a hamstring injury.
One of his three-pointers in the first quarter happened when he brought the ball up the floor and saw Heat center Meyers Leonard guarding him on the perimeter but was starting to back up towards the paint when Ingles stopped and pulled up for a three and drilled it with a late contest from Leonard. Ingles went back on defense with a smirk on his face.
