SEATTLE, Wash. – Former Utah and current Seattle Seahawks rookie safety Marquise Blair recovered a blocked field goal for the Seahawks and nearly found the end zone.
Late in the third quarter, the Arizona Cardinals attempted a 45-yard field, while holding a 20-7 lead. Rasheem Green blocked the field goal and Blair recovered the ball and ran all the way to the Cardinals 16-yard line for a 46-yard return.
It is the rookie’s first recovery of his NFL career.

After the nice field position that was set up by Blair, the Seahawks only managed to kick a field goal to pull within 10 points. This season, Blair has played in 12 games and started in three contests. He has 24 tackles, one pass deflection and a forced fumble.
The Seahawks won two of the three games that Blair started in. Blair had one fumble recovery in his two seasons at Utah from 2017-18.
