Fred Warner Scores First NFL Touchdown On Pick Six Against Rams

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Former BYU Cougars and current San Francisco linebacker Fred Warner scored his first career touchdown in the NFL on his first interceptiongainst the Los Angeles Rams.
In the second quarter, Rams quarterback Jared Goff dropped back to pass and was trying to dump the pass off to one of his wide receivers in the flat but Warner jumped the route and returned the interception 46 yards into the end zone.
The pick six gave the 49ers a 24-21 lead with 46 seconds left until halftime.
The second year pro intercepted his first pass of his NFL career. He had seven interceptions and two touchdowns in college at BYU.
