Eric Weddle Plays In 200th Career NFL Game

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Former Utah and current Los Angeles Rams safety Eric Weddle appeared in his 200th career NFL game on Saturday when the Rams faced the San Francisco 49ers.
Weddle is in his 13th season in the NFL and his first with the Rams. He has been very durable during his career, playing in 15 games as a rookie with the Chargers in 2007, all 16 games in 2008, 13 games in 2009 and then appeared in all 16 games for the next five seasons from 2010-14 all with the San Diego Chargers.
He missed three games in 2015, which was his final season with the Chargers. He never missed a regular season game with the Ravens, playing three seasons and starting in all 48 games. This season, Weddle has played and started in all 15 games.

In his career, Weddle has 1,162 tackles, 37 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 29 interceptions with four touchdowns. He also has 8 forced fumbles, 7 fumble recoveries and one scoop-and-score.
