Thompkins Bursts For Big Run To Tie Game With Golden Flashes

FRISCO, Texas – Utah State receiver Deven Thompkins broke out of the backfield for a big touchdown run to tie the game between the Aggies and the Kent State Golden Flashes.
Thompkins’ score tied Utah State and Kent State at 34-34 in the fourth quarter of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl on Friday, December 20.
Thompkins burst down the field for 57 yards to square the game up with his first carry of the game.

Thompkins’ TD was his second score of the game. He recorded his first touchdown on a 17-yard reception in the third quarter.

The receiver’s game-tying run came with 12:48 left to play.
At the time of his touchdown run, Thompkins had posted 4 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown reception.
