Mariner Hauls In 25-Yard TD To Pull Aggies Even With Golden Flashes
FRISCO, Texas – Utah State wide receiver Siaosi Mariner pulled down a 25-yards touchdown catch to tie the game between the Aggies and the Kent State Golden Flashes at 17-17.
Mariner’s TD grab came during the second quarter of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl on Friday, December 20.
The receiver ran across the goal line into the endzone, turned around, and reeled in the reception from USU quarterback Jordan Love while battling a Kent State defender for the ball.

Mariner had posted three catches for 54 yards and the touchdown midway through the second quarter.
Love was 11/15 for 124 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
The touchdown tied the Aggies with the Golden Flashes at 17 apiece.

Utah State previously trailed Kent State 17-7 late in the first quarter after opening the game with a 7-0 advantage over the Golden Flashes.
Utah State scored a touchdown on its opening drive of the game on 4-yard Gerold Bright run.
