SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said that Ute safeties Julian Blackmon and R.J. Hubert have suffered season-ending injuries and will not play in the Valero Alamo Bowl against the Texas Longhorns.

In the loss to Oregon, Blackmon recorded 4 total tackles and 1 tackle for loss. Hubert posted 2 total tackles including 1 solo tackle.
A non-contact injury for Julian Blackmon followed by a wide open touchdown pass for the Ducks. This is an absolute disaster for the Utes so far.
