Donovan Mitchell Shows Love For Baby Yoda On Twitter

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell showed that’s he a member of the Baby Yoda fan club when he updated his Twitter profile picture to a photo of Baby Yoda wearing his Utah Jazz jersey.

Mitchell updated his profile to feature Baby Yoda wearing a No. 45 Jazz jersey on Wednesday, December 11.

Baby Yoda is a popular character from the Disney+ Star Wars based show “The Mandalorian”. The show was released at the beginning of November and the miniature Yoda character has taken over social media memes in the weeks since the show’s launch.

This isn’t the first time Mitchell has shown love for Star Wars. Adidas released a Star Wars-themed colorway of the Jazz guard’s signature basketball shoes on November 1, 2019.

Mitchell wore the black and blue “lightsaber” colorway against the Sacramento Kings on the shoes’ release date.

The newest Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is scheduled for release in theaters on December 20, 2019
