Joe Ingles Throws Down Rare Dunk Against Grizzlies

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Joe Ingles did something he rarely does in an NBA game against the Memphis Grizzlies — he dunked. And more impressively? He dunked in the half-court.
Ingles has had a slow start to the season with the Jazz, seeing his role change from the last several seasons as a starter to the Jazz sixth-man this season. Additionally, Ingles often switches between acting as a floor spacer, then rotating to the offensive initiator when Emmanuel Mudiay or Dante Exum are struggling.
For the year, Ingles is shooting just 36% from the floor, and 30% from the three-point line. It’s a stark drop from his recent years as one of the league’s best three-point shooters. Ingles had back to back seasons shooting 44% from deep just a few seasons ago.
One way, Ingles can increase his field goal percentage? More dunks like this.

Don’t count on seeing a lot of dunks for the native Australian, the dunk against Memphis is just his second on the season.
Earlier this year, in a rare road win for the Jazz, Ingles dunked against the hapless Golden State Warriors.
