LOGAN, Utah – No. 25 Utah State is headed home after a two-game road swing and looks to exact some revenge against the only team to defeat them at home last season.
The Aggies host the Fresno State Bulldogs on Saturday, December 7 at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
Fresno State was the only team to defeat the Aggies in USU’s 15 home games during the 2018-19 season.
The Bulldogs come to Logan with a 2-5 overall record this season. They are currently 0-1 in Mountain West play after dropping their conference opener to UNLV 81-80 in double overtime.

Fresno State has won 20 or more games in each of the last four seasons.
“They’re a very well-coached team. They’re young,” said Utah State head coach Craig Smith. “They’re playing a lot of inexperienced guys, yet they still return a good core.”
The Bulldogs are led by senior forward Nate Grimes who is averaging 11.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game. He shots the ball at a 50 percent clip and is 38.5 percent on shots from behind the arc.
“Nate Grimes is a very, very good player and certainly has improved his game. He shoots the three a lot better this year than he did last year and they’re kind of able to be utilized him in different ways.”
The Aggies are 8-1 this season and 1-0 in the Mountain West. USU defeated San Jose State 71-59 in their conference-opening game.
