RSL enters their 16th season in Major League Soccer with a record of 6-1-8 all-time in home-opening matches dating back to its inaugural season in 2005 and are 5-1-5 all-time in home openers at Rio Tinto Stadium.
Against the Red Bulls, Real Salt Lake is 7-6-9 all-time and are 6-0-5 at home. Last season, they finished the regular season with a 12-4-1 record at home, which was good for the second most wins at home in MLS.
