Utah State Has 10 Players Named To All-Conference Teams

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies had 10 players named to the Mountain West All-Conference teams.
Thee Aggies were named to the All-Mountain West first team, including linebacker David Woodward, place kicker Dominik Eberle and kick returner Savon Scarver. It’s the second time that Scarver made the first team.
On the second team, wide receiver Siaosi Mariner, and defensive end Tipa Galeai were honored. Galeai received his second 2nd team All-Conference honor.
Five players were named honorable mentions, including quarterback Jordan Love, running back Gerold Bright, tight end Caleb Repp, defensive lineman Christopher Unga and defensive back Shaq Bond.

For the individual awards, San Jose State quarterback Josh Love was named Offensive Player of the Year, Boise State defensive end Curtis Weaver was awarded Defensive Player of the Year, Broncos return specialist Avery Williams was named Special Teams Player of the Year. Boise State running back George Holani was awarded Freshman of the Year and Hawaii’s Nick Rolovich was named Coach of the Year.
Boise State led the conference with 19 honorees, followed by 14 from Air Force and San Diego State, 11 from Hawaii and 10 from Utah State. Wyoming finished with 8 honorees, San Jose State with 7, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada and UNLV each having 6 honorees and New Mexico with 5 players honored.
Utah State will find out on Sunday which bowl game they will play in after finishing the regular season with a 7-5 overall record and a 6-2 mark in conference play.
