Love’s 3 Touchdowns Lead Utah State To Win Over New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Utah State quarterback Jordan Love threw for three touchdowns and led the Aggies to a victory over the New Mexico Lobos.
Love put the Aggies on top in their final game of the regular season on Saturday, November 30.
The Aggies’ QB threw for 172 yards and 3 TDs in the road matchup. Love’s performance put Utah State in the win column for the seventh time this season with a 38-25 win at New Mexico.

Love was 18/25 through the air. He added 26 yards on the ground.
The Aggies scored 24 points in the second quarter to take a 31-6 lead at halftime. USU allowed 19 second half points by the Lobos but the threat of an upset never materialized.
Utah State picked of New Mexico QB Trae Hall in the final minutes of the game to seal the double-digit victory.

Aggie running back Gerold Bright carried the ball 19 times for 113 yards and a touchdown. He eclipsed 2,000 career rushing yards in the win.
USU receiver Siaosi Mariner had 3 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. One of his receptions was a one-handed grab.
Hall led the Lobos with four total touchdowns. He was 10/21 for 107 yards in the passing game. He posted 22 rushes for 115 yards.
Utah State moved to 7-5 (6-2 MWC) with the regular season finale win. They will find out their bowl game and postseason opponent on Sunday, December 8.
