USU’s Mariner Pulls Down One-Handed Catch Against Lobos

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Utah State wide receiver Siaosi Mariners pulled down a one-handed catch during the Aggies’ game against the New Mexico Lobos.
Mariner’s snag came midway through the second quarter of the game between the Aggies and Lobos on Saturday, November 3o.
The USU wideout got open on his route and Aggie quarterback Jordan Love found him for a 35-yard reception that he reeled in with a single hand.

Mariner’s catch set moved the Aggies into the red zone and down to the 11-yard line of New Mexico. The reception set up a Utah State touchdown by Jordan Nathan that stretched the Aggies’ lead to 17-6 with 7:44 remaining until halftime.
The Aggies went into the break with a 31-6 lead over the Lobos.

In the first half, Mariner had 2 receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Love was 12/23 for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns.
