Bogdanovic’s Big 4th Quarter Lifts Jazz To First Win Of Road Trip

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Bojan Bogdanovic had an excellent game and a spectacular fourth quarter that lifted the Utah Jazz to a 103-94 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The victory gave the Jazz their first win on a five-game road trip.
Bogdanovic scored 16 points in the final quarter of the game at FedEx Forum between the Jazz and Grizzlies on Friday, November 29.
The Jazzman hit a 27-foot jumper with 1:42 left in the game to give Utah a six point advantage and back in the win column after losses at Milwaukee and Indiana.
Bogdanovic finished the game with 33 points on 12-20 shooting. He was 4-8 from downtown. Bogey added 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal in the Jazz win.

After falling behind 55-40 at halftime, the Jazz flipped a switch in the third and fourth quarters led by Bogdanovic.
Bogdanovic scored 26 of his 33 points in the second half.
It was the forward’s second consecutive 30-point game and fourth of the season.

In the last six games, Bogdanovic is averaging 27 points.
He’s led the Jazz in scoring in eight games this season and each of the last three contests. Bogdanovic has scored in double figures in each game that he’s played in this season.
The Jazzman is averaging more than four points more per game than he averaged last season as the Indiana Pacers’ primary scorer following Victor Oladipo’s injury.
In 18 games this season, Bogdanovic is averaging 22.1 points on 48.8 percent from the field. He’s making 46.8 percent of his shots from behind the arc. He takes an average of seven shots from downtown per game.
Bogey is also adding 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 0.8 assists per game.

Four Jazzmen scored in double figures against the Grizzlies. Utah guard Donovan Mitchell recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Jazz center Rudy Gobert posted 13 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.

In his second game back in Memphis, Jazz point guard Mike Conley scored 8 points on 3-13 shooting. He added 7 boards, 4 assists, and a steal in 32 minutes.
Utah moved to 12-7 on the season while the Grizzlies fell to 5-13. It was the Jazz’s fourth road victory through the first 19 games on the schedule. The Jazz are now 1-2 on their current five road trip with upcoming stops in Toronto and Philadelphia.
