Royce O’Neale Dunks Putback As Part Of Jazz Run To Open 2nd Half
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Jazz forward Royce O’Neale slammed a putback dunk as part of a 12-0 Utah run to the open second half against the Memphis Grizzlies.
O’Neale’s dunk came during the opening minutes of the third quarter of the game between the Jazz and Grizzlies on Friday, November 29.
Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell missed a 25-foot three-pointer when O’Neale flew into the paint, rebounded the ball mid-air, and threw down the dunk to bring the Jazz within three points of the Grizzlies.

O’Neale’s putback cut the Grizzlies’ lead to 55-52 with 9:05 left in the third quarter.
The Jazz forward’s slam was part of a big Utah run to open the second half. Utah struggled in the second quarter and were down 55-40 at halftime.

Utah was on a 23-4 run at one point in the quarter.
After the dunk, O’Neale was 3-6 on field goals for 7 points. He was 1-2 from behind the arc.
O’Neale added 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal in 21 minutes midway through the quarter.
