Runnin’ Utes To Play In Battle 4 Atlantis In 2020

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Utes Men’s Basketball team announced that they will be one of the eight teams that will participate in the 2020 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.
The tournament will take place from November 25-27 in the Imperial Arena at the Atlantis Paradise Island Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas. They will join Creighton, Duke, Memphis, Ohio State, Texas A&M, West Virginia and Wichita State.
This is the second time that the Utes will play in the Battle 4 Atlantis. The last time was in head coach Larry Krystkowiak’s first season in 2011.

This season, Michigan, Iowa State, North Carolina, Alabama, Gonzaga, Southern Miss, Seton Hall and Oregon participated in the tournament. Michigan knocked off No. 8 Gonzaga in the championship game. North Carolina beat Oregon in the third place game. Four of the eight teams entered the tournament ranked in the top 25.
The Runnin’ Utes are 4-2 this season, coming off of two losses in the Myrtle Beach Invitational. They will host UC Davis on Friday night at 7 p.m. on the Pac-12 Network. Then they will face rival BYU on Wednesday night at the Jon M. Huntsman Center at 6 p.m.
