SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Joe Ingles continued to add to his legacy in a Utah Jazz uniform Monday night when against the Milwaukee Bucks, he moved into sole possession of the number two ranking of all-time made three-point field goals for the Jazz.
With 5:54 remaining in the first quarter, Ingles buried a three from the right wing on his first attempt just seconds after entering the game, it was his 690th made three with the Jazz. Ingles passed Gordon Hayward, who made 689 during his seven-year career in Utah.
Ingles is entering just his sixth season with the Jazz.

John Stockton is the team’s all-time leader in three-pointers made. The hall of fame guard has 845 made threes, 155 more than second-place Ingles.
Ingles is off to the slowest three-point shooting start of his career, connecting on just 29% of his attempts through 16 games this season. Ingles previous career-low is 35% his rookie season.
At Ingles current pace, it would take 119 games connecting on his season average of 1.3 makes per game to pass Stockton. However, if Ingles were to rebound to his 2.3 makes her game last season, he could become the Jazz all-time leader early in the first round of the playoffs.
Though Ingles should eventually hold the Jazz all-time record, it likely won’t stand for long. Donovan Mitchell ranks 10th on the all-time list with 412 makes going into Monday’s game. At Mitchell’s current pace, he would surpass Stockton’s record in 180 games, or little more than two seasons from now. He could catch Ingles within roughly three seasons.
