SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Pac-12 announced that Utah defensive end Bradlee Anae has been named Conference Defensive Lineman of the Week.

It’s the fifth straight week when Utah has played a game that they have had a member of the defensive line named Pac-12 Player of the Week. Anae won it twice during that stretch, along with Leki Fotu, John Penisini and Mika Tafua each receiving the honor once.

Anae won his second award this season, his first was after the Utes beat Arizona State. He has also been named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week once this season.

The senior finished with seven tackles in their win over Arizona, including one sack – his 11th of the season, which is good for second in the conference.

Utah had their 11th Pac-12 weekly award with Anae’s honor, it’s the second most in the conference behind Oregon.

Anae has 28 career sacks and is now two sacks away from breaking the school record currently held by Hunter Dimick with 29.5.

The star defensive end will play his last home game at Rice-Eccles Stadium this Saturday when the Utes face the Colorado Buffaloes. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC.
