Utes Become Highest Ranked Pac-12 Team In AP Poll After Oregon Loss

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah beat Arizona and Oregon lost to Arizona State on Saturday. With those results, the Utes have moved up one spot to No. 6 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

It’s the highest ranking in the AP poll this season for Utah and the highest since 2015 when they were No. 3 in the country. In the Coaches Poll, Utah moved up two spots to No. 6.

Oregon dropped to No. 14 in the poll and USC has cracked the poll, sitting at No. 25. The College Football Playoff rankings will be released on Tuesday at 5 p.m. on ESPN.

Boise State stayed at No. 20 after their win over Utah State.

Utah improved to 10-1 overall and 7-1 in Pac-12 play. They will clinch a spot in the Pac-12 Championship game with a win at home over Colorado on Saturday in their regular season finale. The game will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC.
