TUSCON, Ariz. – Utah Utes tight end Brant Kuithe isn’t just a weapon through the air, he can also score off of trick plays and he did so against the Arizona Wildcats in the first quarter.
He scored the first touchdown of the game for the Utes on a jet sweep from three-yards away to put the Utes on the scoreboard.
It’s his first rushing touchdown of his career. Entering the game, Kuithe was tied for the most receptions on the team with 22, along with Demari Simpkins and is barely behind Bryan Thompson for the most receiving yards on the Utes. Thompson had 452 yards and Kuithe had 406 yards. The sophomore tight end leads the team with 4 touchdown catches.
