After Winning USL Title, Real Monarchs Name Jamison Olave Head Coach

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Real Monarchs of the USL named Jamison Olave as their head coach.
Olave was named the interim head coach back in July. He joined the Monarchs as an assistant coach in 2017.
The Monarchs defeated the two-time defending champion Louisville City to earn their first USL Championship title last week.

The Monarchs defeated Louisville on their home pitch.
After going down 1-0 early, the Monarchs responded with three straight goals to win the match 3-1.

The Monarch’s new leader joined the Real Salt Lake family as a player. In fact, he was the first person to ever score a goal at Rio Tinto Stadium on October 9, 2008.
Olave aided RSL in their only MLS Cup title and was named to the MLS All-Star team in 2010 and 2011.
His other accolades include 2010 Defender of The Year and being selected for the MLS Best XI in 2011, according to the club’s website.
