UTAH STATE AGGIES
Munoz, Eberle Honored Mountain West Players Of The Week

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Mountain West Conference chose two Aggies as co-defensive player of the week and special teams player of the week – Eric Munoz and Dominik Eberle, respectively.
The honor comes after Utah State beat the Wyoming Cowboys, 26-21, in Logan over the weekend.
Eberle, a senior, has had a stellar season so far for the Aggies. He’s earned the award three times this season and five times over his career.
During Saturday’s game Eberle made four field goals. His longest clocked in at 47 yards.
Eberle was responsible for 14 of the Aggie’s 26 points.
As for Munoz, this is his first conference player of the week award. He is a red-shirt junior and a walk-on for the Aggies.
Saturday was his seventh career game.
Munoz dominated on defense with two interceptions and 13 tackles, a career-high.
After the win, Munoz got emotional while speaking to the media.
“This has been a long time coming to be honest with you, this is the third school I’ve been too being a red-shirt junior, I’ve had to sit behind some guys,” said Munoz.
Gary Andersen and the Aggies will continue their hunt for a conference title this Saturday against Boise State in Logan. The game kicks off at 8:30 p.m.
