Grizzlies, Fans Show Love To Mike Conley

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Jazz guard Mike Conley was hoping Memphis Grizzlies fans would give him a warm welcome when his name was announced by the public address announcer.
He really didn’t need to worry. Conley was the last player announced and received a standing ovation from the Grizzlies fans in attendance.

Conley looked like he was revved up to start the game. But he was a little distracted during the first timeout as the Grizzlies played a tribute video to the player who captured their hearts on and off the court.

Conley watched the entire video while sitting on Utah’s bench and barely turned away once. When it was over, Conley stood and acknowledged the crowd as he received another standing ovation. Prior to the game, Conley said that he loved Grizzlies fans and he hoped the feeling was mutual. It looks like he got his wish.
