Skidmore’s Dual Threat Attack Moves Park City Past Pine View

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Park City quarterback Jack Skidmore utilized his dual-threat talents and moved the Miners past the Pine View Panthers in the 4A semifinals.
Skidmore’s spectacular game secured Park City a win over Pine View on Thursday, November 14.
The Miner QB had two passing touchdowns and two rushing scores to lead Park City to a 48-21 win over the Panthers.

Skidmore completed 6/9 passing for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The dual-threat QB added 133 yards on the ground on 12 carries. He added two more TDs rushing the ball.
Park City opened the game with a 12-0 lead before surrounding a touchdown to Pine View.

The Panthers cut the deficit to 12-7 and 20-14 during the first half. Pine View was constantly clawing back in the game but was never able to take the lead.
The Miners broke open the game early in the third quarter when they took a 41-14 advantage.

Each team added a score late with the outcome already secured.
Miners RB Dylan Bauer added 148 yards on the 20 carriers. Bauer added two TDs to the Park City total.
Pine View QB Macloud Crowton was 31/50 for 410 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in the loss.
Panthers’ receiver Dominique McKenzie had 10 receptions for 197 yards and 2 TDs.
Park City will take on the winner of the other 4A semifinal matchup, Sky View or Dixie, in the 4A championship game.
The Miners will play for the 4A title on November 22 at 11 a.m. The game will be played at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
