Utes Move Up To No. 7 In CFP Rankings After Bye Week

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Utes moved up one spot to No. 7 by the committee in the second College Football Playoff rankings of the 2019 season.
It’s the 26th week that they have appeared in the CFP rankings since the Playoff began in 2014. That is the sixth most in the country behind Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma and LSU.
Utah’s No. 7 ranking is the highest in school history in the playoff era. Their previous high was No. 8.

The Oregon Ducks is the highest ranked team in the Pac-12 at No. 6.
The rankings was discussed on the Crimson Corner podcast with Jeremiah Jensen.
After their win over No. 4 Penn State, Minnesota moved up from No. 17 to No. 8.
