USWNT’s Christen Press Goes Right-To-Left For Goal Against Costa Rica

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Utah Royals FC striker Christen Press went from her right foot to the left foot and buried the soccer ball in the back of the net to extend the United States Women’s National Team’s lead over Costa Rica.
Press’ goal came in the 56th minute of the international friendly between the USA and Costa Rica on Sunday, November 10.
The URFC player’s goal extended the USWNT’s lead to 4-0 over Costa Rica.

Press’ score was her 51st international goal. She’s had over 120 appearances for the US Women’s National Team.
The USA defeated Costa Rica 6-0. The USWNT outshot Costa Rica 17-6 in the win.

Press was a member of the USWNT that won the 2019 FIFA World Cup.
Her club team, Utah Royals FC, finished the NWSL season in October. Press had eight goals during the Royals’ 2019 season. URFC finished with a 10-10-4 record.
