Micah Simon Hauls In 47-Yard Reception On BYU Touchdown Drive

PROVO, Utah – BYU receiver Micah Simon hauled in a 47-yard reception a BYU’s first possession of the game. The drive ended with a 2-yard touchdown catch by Simon.
Simon’s catch game early in the first quarter of the Cougars’ game against the Liberty Flames on Saturday, November 9.
The senior reeled in a 47-yard catch on a pass from quarterback Baylor Romney that moved the Cougs into the red zone.

A few plays later, Romney hit Simon for a two-yard touchdown reception.
BYU’s score came with 7:56 left in the first quarter.

The score tied the game between Cougars and Flames at 7-7.
Romney ended the first quarter throwing 4/6 for 69 yards and the TD.
Simon had 3 receptions for 59 yards and the score. The touchdown was the fifth of Simon’s BYU career and his second of the 2019 season.
The Liberty vs. BYU game is broadcast on KSL NewsRadio 1160 AM and 102.7 FM. It is being televised on ESPNU.
