Crowton’s Late TD Helps Pine View To 4A Semifinals

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Macloud Crowton ran in a 10-yard touchdown with 9 seconds left to give Pine View the 43-36 upset win over Green Canyon.
The game was tied at 14 at the end of the first quarter before Green Canyon had a 21-16 halftime lead. In the third quarter, Green Canyon outscored Pine View 15-6 to take a 36-22 lead. Pine View scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to get the win. Crowton threw two touchdowns on top of the rushing score to win the game. Enoch Takau added two rushing touchdowns for Pine View. Jacob Lundin had two total touchdowns, one passing and one rushing, while Brennan Dean ran in two rushing touchdowns for Green Canyon.
Pine View will play #1 Park City next week in the semifinals.

#9 Snow Canyon 10 at #1 Park City 14
Snow Canyon had a 10-7 lead at the half before Park City scored a touchdown in the third quarter. Their defense held off Snow Canyon from the upset. Dylan Bauer had a rushing touchdown for the Miners, as well as a rushing score by Chase Johansen. Preston Frei scored the lone touchdown for Snow Canyon.
Park City will face #5 Pine View next week in the semifinals.
#7 Mountain View 13 at #2 Sky View 56
The Bobcats jumped out to a 35-6 lead in the first half and cruised to the victory and will move on to the semifinals. Kason Carlsen threw three and ran in two touchdowns in the win for Sky View. Mason Falslev had two receiving touchdowns. Duce Anderson had two passing touchdowns to two different receivers for Mountain View.
Sky View will face #3 Dixie next week in the semifinals.
#6 Stansbury 14 at #3 Dixie 42
Dixie jumped out to a 35-0 lead and that was the difference in the game. Reggie Graff threw one TD pass and ran in three more. Kru Huxford had a passing touchdown, while Tommy Christopherson ran in a score for Stansbury.
Stansbury will play #2 Sky View next week in the semifinals.
